The Diamondback Downtown is owned by Kimberly and Murphy Gregg and is the sister restaurant to the Diamondback Grill, 751 Avalon Road in Winston-Salem. All of these restaurants focus on fresh ingredients to make delicious, good food supporting local and regional purveyors. Our atmosphere at the Diamondback Downtown is laid back and we like to see the same customers returning day after day.

Quite possibly one of the best kept secret spots for lunch if you work (or play) downtown. The sandwiches and salads here are super fresh and made to order. The balsamic viniagrette salad dressing is the best in the city, hands down.

This place is amazing...the first (and only) thing I have eaten here is the grilled tuna sandwich. I have it substituted on a wrap instead of the bread, and it is FANTASTIC. Their sesame noodles are great as well.

I love this place. I walk downtown sometimes during lunch and stop here to get take-out. It's in the Park Building and has 'order at the counter' walk up service. Their food is truly gourmet.

I go here all the time, and their offerings are excellent. Fresh, locally produced food. They have a variety of gourmet-level sandwiches for much less than other places around.
